I am Shimla Singh, an Arts Graduate from Delhi University. I am a fun loving & cheerful girl. I am very passionate about learning new things on each & every step of my life.

I have been working with Market Xcel Data Matrix since May 2011, and have handled various roles & responsibilities in “Field Operations” department since then. I always accept whatever opportunities are offered to me & love to take up the challenges that come my way. I feel fortunate as right at the beginning of my career, I got the opportunity of working under the leadership & guidance of the most prominent mentors of the industry.

I still remember that I entered the professional world as an amateur and was too young to understand the dynamics of the corporate sector. Initially, my innocence made people take me lightly and look at me as if I was there just to pass time (since this was my very first job). At times, their attitude made me really nervous. Being a female, it was difficult for me to decide whether to do a field related work or not, but, I was determined and never lost my focus even though it wasn’t an easy beginning for me. The drive to excel kept me on the move all the time.

I also remember my first day in the office; I was given a warm welcome by the Market Xcel family and thoroughly enjoyed my training period because it was being imparted by one of most able mentors who also happen to be one of the Directors at Market Xcel Data Matrix. I feel fortunate enough to be the part of the first batch of “Team Xccelerate”. I learned a lot and gained a lot of knowledge about the MR industry which was very much required for a fresher like me.

During my training period only, I made up my mind that no matter what I will never disappoint my company and specially my mentors who kept faith in my abilities and always supported me. Also, I would like to mention here that on my very first day at work, I got a performance prize as a token of appreciation which made me feel great as it was for my hard work which got noticed and appreciated.

Initially, I worked as a “Field Investigator” and it was during this period only that I learnt plenty of new things, developed confidence and became a go getter. I got “Debutante of the Year” award for my rated performance which had set the path to the journey of my career. In July 2013, Market Xcel gave me my first opportunity to grow by promoting me as a “Project Coordinator”.

Market Xcel has now become my second family where I grow up each day learning unique things. For the last 2 years, I am working with the “Corporate Data Collection” team in “Field Operations Department” and feel proud of being a part of it. From being a simple and shy girl to becoming a confident worker (who can manage and complete any assigned task) feels great. Today I know that I can overcome any challenge coming my way not only in my professional life but personal life too.

Market Xcel is a place where people grow in a professional yet friendly environment. Everyone is encouraged and appreciated for trying and doing new things by their senior colleagues.Till now it’s been a small but vey memorable journey from being a very simple & innocent fresher to a confident project coordinator of Market Xcel family. I look forward to many more accomplishments in years to come.
